RDRC — Training
RDRC Fellowships
The RDRC supported pre-doctoral fellows and post-doctoral fellows who were developing a research agenda on issues relating to Social Security and the wellbeing of Social Security beneficiaries.
Mentored Research
This program, based at Howard University and Hunter College, mentored advanced undergraduate or master’s degree students from traditionally underrepresented minority groups. Participating students developed a research plan and wrote a research paper on the determinants of racial health disparities in SSI, in most cases by linking data from Medicaid claims records to other publicly available databases.
