Andrew Caplin is the Silver Professor of Economics at NYU and the Co-Director of the Sloan-NOMIS Program on the Cognitive Foundations of Economic Behavior. He specializes in disregarding outmoded barriers between social scientific disciplines as witness to his current research on management skills, income expectations, the relationship between skills and earnings, and interactions between human and machine learning. Ulrike Malmendier is the Edward J. and Mollie Arnold Professor of Finance at the University of California, Berkeley Haas School of Business and a Professor of Economics in the UC Berkeley department of economics. Her areas of research include behavioral economics and finance, corporate finance, and macro-finance. She currently serves on the German Council of Economic Experts.

Andrei Shleifer is the John L. Loeb Professor of Economics at Harvard University. He most recently has been working on the role of expectations in finance and macroeconomics, as well as on cognitive foundations of behavioral economics.
