Coordinating Center on the Economics of Alzheimer’s Disease and Alzheimer’s Disease-Related Dementias: Prevention, Treatment, and Care - Funding Opportunities
The NBER Center supports yearly research projects on the economics of AD/ADRD, with particular attention to the priority research themes described in the link below. Two types of awards are granted each year (to those with a PhD, MD or equivalent): approximately five READ (Research on the Economics of Alzheimer's/Dementia) one-year grants for up to $200,000 in total research costs, and five EC-READ (Early Career — Research on Economics of Alzheimer's/Dementia) grants for up to $50,000 in direct costs, designed to support early-stage investigators, with research to be completed over one or two years. The 2025 proposal cycle is closed, but please check back in October 2025 when the calls for proposals for the 2026 funding cycle will be posted.
