- outlier payments percentage
- cost-to-charge ratio
- number of beds
- medicare discharges
- MSA, CBSA, SSA state and county, Census division or region, urban/rural
- medicare days as a percentage of total inpatient days

Jean Roth gathered many source files and documentation and set up the impact[CCYY].[dta|sas7bdat|csv] versions of the source Impact files with consistent file and variable names and variable types over time to make the files easier to use. Additional source materials gratefully accepted.
