This project analyzes the obstacles that hinder families and caregivers of children with special healthcare needs from accessing necessary care and resources with a particular focus on marginalized communities. It explores the extent to which families are aware of services designed for children with disabilities, the obstacles that families face in accessing social services, how service availability affects the well-being of both the children and their caregivers, and how to design effective information dissemination and outreach strategies tailored to children with special healthcare needs.
