Provider Organizations and Care Coordination: Effects on Utilization, Quality and Outcomes

Coordination of care can vary significantly across the health care delivery system, based on the organizational structure through which different providers and provider networks deliver health care services. The goal of this project is to better understand the relationships between within-firm and cross-firm organizational structures, care coordination, services provided to patients with various diagnoses, health care quality, and health outcomes.
