This project will support research on a variety of issues related to CEO and other top executive pay, the effects of CEO pay on firm behavior and performance, and the role of institutional shareholders in influencing CEO pay. The specific topics featured at each conference will depend on the supply of high-quality research papers. Panel discussions will be used to foster exchanges between practitioners (investors, board members, compensation consultants) and academics, and to identify important issues that have not yet been reflected in academic research.
