The project will examine the impact of higher tariffs and other restrictive policies on agricultural products that have been adopted in recent years by U.S. trading partners. The project will provide support for a set of ten sub-projects on various topics related to trade policy and agricultural markets. The results will provide new information on the consequences of recent changes in the global policy environment on the U.S. agricultural sector, and will provide empirical evidence that can inform decisions by policy makers concerned with both domestic agricultural policy and trade policy.
