Installing VPN
We recommend to install FortiClient VPN, Linux, Version 4.4.2332
Download and extract the file. You will then go to forticlientsslvpn/64-bit and double-click on the file named forticlientsslvpn.
Configuring your VPN
A Forticlient SSLVPN window will open after you click on the file. The port number for the server field will default to 10433. Delete that and put 433. The rest of the correct settings should look like this:
You must leave the certificate and the last password field blank. If it is your first time connecting to the VPN on Linux, you will see this window:
Please click continue. You will then see the Duo 2FA window pop up where you have to authenticate:
After you successfully authenticate, you will see a connection status window:
